Re: Drawing the curtains: New Color Scheme!

OK.....

no I am really really really confused.

the RGB numbers bring up colours that look correct, but the HSL ones look real weird.

for example, in paint

HSL 230/50/100 (blue 1.) looks pinky red and give RGB numbers of 129/84/96

Use the RGB colors then. MSDoodle is basically from the stoneage of computer development and it has many oddities. Perhaps you should try out GIMPshop.

That's odd, I have had no problems using Paint with the color scheme. But I do recall some people having conversion issues with the old one so who knows.

Paint is not from the stone age, it is from the bronze age. emoticon

Yeah, Gimpshop works great. Actually, converting something from the old color scheme to the new one with gimpshop is very easy. Just take the color picker and select the color on the pallet you want, and then click the "select regions by color" button, and select the color you want to replace. Then, right click, select edit, and hit "replace with FG color." Bam, everything is replaced.

9+1 Shading Palette

I've reconstructed the 9+1 shading scheme for internal drawings. Enjoy.

V9 seems to be the latest worksheet. It's all I can find anyway.

Just curious if anyone has a copy of 'the scheme itself' from the original post, but without the PhotoBucket watermark plastered all over the importent bits. emoticon

EDIT: Nevermind, open image in new tab works miracles. emoticon
