Re: Corellian Corvette Escape Pod - Yellowscale

Thanks Void, that was the idea...I am shading as I go to try to save time and to ensure that I don't miss any details. So I am working on particular sectors first...in this case, the hardest parts which are those big hinge things for the landing gear.

and here is the latest update of the escape pod. the top and bottom view fiddly bits and some panel lines have been added.

this is progressing very nicely, I think.

let me know what you think. emoticon

okay, I updated the pod with the braking / landing thrusters in two views. The hard part will be the other two views there, because they are at an angle, but I will have that up shortly.

as always, let me know what you think.

I must admit, besides looking sweet, the boring beveled cylinder is shaping up nicely and it is getting more interesting. emoticon

Actually, I think the thrusters and the way you made them just inspired me for something else I was working on. Hehe... Thanks! Can't wait to see it finished. emoticon

As an Imperial officer I would answer the question "Would you sacrifice 200,000 soldiers to take one objective" my answer would be "Yes Sir, and Ill sacrifice another 200,000 in the name of the Emperor to fullfill his dreams".

The forum has moved to: http://www.swdesignalliance.com There are tons of new artwork, although I don't know if there've been any new updates to this particular work.

Just sign up over there and start posting emoticon

Re: Corellian Corvette Escape Pod - Yellowscale

Good evening all,

PLease see below, the ltest update to this resurrected project. my intention is also to draw it in it's docked, angled position so that I can rescale that to the M20 scale for the CR90.

Considering the amount of work already done on this, I have decided that I am retconning this at M100 scale instead of yellowscale. The margin of error is small I will do some calculations to determine the exact difference.

as always, cooments are welcome.
